On April 2, 2020, at the Ha Tinh Department of Health, Harumi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Harumi) donated 10,000 four-layer antibacterial medical masks, 1,000 sets of medical protective gear, and 1,000 specialized N95 masks. The handover ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ha Tinh Department of Health, the leaders of Nghi Xuan District General Hospital, and representatives from Harumi.

A representative from Harumi emphasized that amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the health of citizens across the country in general, and of Ha Tinh in particular, needed protection. Especially at risk were the doctors and medical staff, who had direct contact with patients and were on the frontline diagnosing and treating infected or suspected cases. More than anyone, they faced a high risk of infection from patients. Despite these risks, the medical team continued their tireless battle on a "silent frontline" — where the line between danger and safety is drawn only by a set of protective clothing and a thin medical mask. Meanwhile, the shortage of quality medical masks remained an urgent issue, significantly affecting disease prevention efforts.

The Harumi representative also expressed admiration and deep gratitude to the medical team, stating: “This is a small gift that our Company wishes to share with the provincial health sector, hoping that doctors and medical staff will continue to stand strong and defeat the virus.” Through this act, Harumi also called on other businesses to join hands and contribute to overcoming this challenging period.

On behalf of the province's medical staff, the leadership of the Ha Tinh Department of Health expressed gratitude to the businesses and media agencies that had continuously supported and encouraged the "white coat warriors" on the frontline against the pandemic. They conveyed the message: “The greatest support that the people can offer to the medical team at this time is to limit going out unless necessary and to strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.”
